Perform the following steps:

  • on the server, follow the instructions from Cluster_software_-_RPMS#preparation (skipping svn co step) to setup the rpmbuild environment (as root), and:

    yum install rpm-build subversion

At this point you have an rpmbuild environment. RPMS are very convenient to maintain installed software.

  • as root, checkout the rpmbuild project hosted at Center for Atomic-scale Materials Design at DTU:

    cd
    svn co -r 895 https://svn.fysik.dtu.dk/projects/rpmbuild/branches/campos_installer rpmbuild
    mkdir -p ~/RPMS ~/SRPMS ~/SOURCES ~/SPECS
    mkdir ~/rpmbuild/build

Go back to installing and configuring batch system.
